Something big is about to happen to the hybrid world. Mark your calendars for late 2016 when the 2017 Toyota Prius Prime for sale in Kansas City, MO, hits our showroom floor here at Molle Toyota. This all-new plug-in hybrid will provide the latest in terms of efficiency, convenience, and safety features. Don’t let the opportunity to be the first to experience this revolutionary hybrid pass you by! Visit us today for more information.

Let’s start things off with its impressive fuel efficiency. The 2017 Toyota Prius Prime is anticipating a staggering 600 mileage range1. When driving exclusively as all-electric, you’ll maximize your mileage with a awe-inducing 120 MPGe2 and up to 22 miles3 of pure electric driving. This increase in electric driving is due in part to the larger battery and more powerful motors for longer EV Mode4 capabilities.

Unlike other plug-in vehicles, charging up is easy. You can choose to do so at home or at one of the thousands of public charging stations. Using regenerative braking, the EV battery is able to stay charged on the go. Although it still possesses a 1.8L Atkinson-cycle 4-cylinder engine, there’s now an 8.8kWh lithium-ion battery pack, which is twice as large as that in past Prius models. If the battery charge runs out, the Prius Prime will switch back to pure gasoline-powered driving. The battery can be charged in a little as 5.5 hours in a standard household outlet, and under 2.5 hours when using a public charging station with a 240V outlet. You don’t need to purchase any special charging equipment, as it comes with a standard-outlet charging cable5

There are also a lot of exciting new features within the 2017 Prius Prime that you are sure to love. For instance, there’s a dynamic 11.6-inch touchscreen located on the center stack, which will house an abundance of features. There’s also a convenient smartphone app that pairs with the Prius Prime. You’ll be able to remotely check on the status of your charge, locate areas with public chargers, operate the climate-control system, and so much more. It’s also easy to keep your smartphone charged thanks to the Qi-compatible wireless charging station6. Standard features will include voice recognition7, a USB port8, Bluetooth® technology9 for hands-free phone calls and audio streaming10, and even Siri® Eyes Free11.

Beyond innovative technology, the Toyota Prius Prime will be equipped with the latest safety features. For instance, it’ll include Toyota’ Safety Sense P12 suite, which bundles safety elements like Dynamic Radar Cruise Control13, Pre-Collision System14 with Pedestrian Detection15, Lane Departure Alert16, Steering Assist, and more.

You’re not going to want to miss out on the opportunity to test drive the 2017 Toyota Prius Prime for sale in Kansas City, MO. It’ll hit our showroom floor here at Molle Toyota later this year, but you can give us a call at 866-557-9913 for more information regarding its arrival.
