2026 Toyota Tundra Updates
The Tundra received a full-on generational update for the 2022 model, and it remains largely the same. However, there are a few notable changes compared to the previous year, including:
| • | The 22.5-gallon tank has been phased out, and the larger 32.2-gallon fuel tank is now standard across all grades. |
| • | The TRD Rally Package now has an available TRD 3-inch lift kit and Tow Tech Package. |
| • | The top-spec Capstone grade now gets Shale Premium Textured leather trim, and the Limited grade comes with leather-trimmed seats. |
| • | ISO Dynamic seats are now available on the TRD Pro grade. |
| • | Power running boards will now be available on the Platinum and 1794 Edition grades. |
| • | Single-zone climate control is updated for better efficiency, and Double Cab models will now have rear air vents to maximize flow. |
| • | New Wave Maker exterior color is now available on the TRD Pro. |

2026 Toyota Tundra Engines and Performance
The Tundra has two available engine options. The base-level trims come with the i-FORCE twin-turbo V6, which puts out 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque, while upper-level grades get the i-FORCE MAX twin-turbo V6 hybrid system, which cranks out a prodigious 437 combined horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque.
All trims come with a 10-speed automatic transmission, and the Tundra can be optioned with either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. Other available performance features include Multi-Terrain Select, Crawl Control, and Downhill Assist Control, as well as unique suspension tunings for TRD models.

2026 Toyota Tundra Interior
Front and center inside the Tundra’s cab, we find an 8-inch display screen in lower trims and a giant 14-inch Toyota Audio Multimedia system in the premium grades. Regardless, all models come standard with a range of connectivity features like the Smart Key System, Bluetooth, wireless Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto™, and Toyota Connected Services capability, which includes an available Wi-Fi hotspot subscription. Other available tech features include wireless phone charging, a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, and a 10-inch head-up display.
Aside from the tech features, the Tundra comes well-equipped with other available features like dual climate control, heated steering wheel, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, and more.
